<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique preventing trouble due to movement of a light-shielding member for adjusting an incident light from a windshield forming a part of a ceiling part of a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sunshade device for adjusting the incident light from the windshield forming a part of the ceiling part of the vehicle is provided. The sunshade device is provided with: a light-shielding part movable in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and varying the light-shielding state of at least a part of the ceiling part by the movement; a sunvisor attached to the light-shielding part and having a mechanism for varying a relative positional relationship relative to the light-shielding part; a motive power device for moving the light-shielding part by the fed electric power; and a movement allowing part for feeding the electric power to the motive power device when the positional relationship is in a previously set storage position.
