<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material sterilization box capable of totally sterilizing respective inserted floor materials. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of line light sources 4 are aligned in the width direction of a housing 3 inside the housing 3 of a housing sterilization box 1. Gaps 5 for inserting the erected floor materials 6 such as Tatami (straw mats) or mats are formed between the respectively adjacent line light sources 4. The floor materials 6 are inserted by sliding on insertion rails 31 and supported in an erection state by support frames 32 and 41. The two main surfaces of the inserted floor materials 6 are opposed to the UV light sources 4. That is, the floor materials 6 are placed between the UV light sources 4. Consequently, the two main surfaces of the floor materials 6 are irradiated with the UV light so as to effectively sterilize the substantially whole surfaces. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
