Ž<P>SOLUTION: Whether to receive a control command to interlockingly operate both a video player 1 and a television receiver 4 connected to the video player 1 is determined (S2). Signal to the movement of a person is analyzed, and a remote control code signal is analyzed (S3). The number of times of receiving the remote control code signal of own apparatus and another apparatus, and own remote control command are temporarily stored. Whether a person is detected is determined, on the basis of an analysis result (S4).
