<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and precisely calculate the coefficient of friction in rolling without using a complicated constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this measuring instrument 100 of the coefficient of rolling friction for measuring the coefficient of rolling friction when a second evaluation target 122 is brought into contact with a rotating first evaluation target 116 to be thereby rolled, the first evaluation target 116 is formed into a plate shape to have first rotary axis O and the second evaluation target 122 is constituted so that its surface shape brought into contact with the first evaluation target 116 may be formed at least into a part of a conical side surface shape to have a second rotary axis Q rotated according to the rotation of the first evaluation target 116 at its center and be equipped with a support member 124 supporting the second evaluation target 122 in a rotatable manner so that all of the first rotary axis O, a second rotary axis Q and the conical matrix (m) cross each other at one point C.
