<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper, which can mutually balance an intake quantity and an exhaust quantity by a simple structure without using an electric drive means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The balance damper 1 includes an intake-side plate 22 rotating with the pressure of sucked air; an exhaust-side plate 32 rotating with the pressure of exhausted air; a shaft 21 rotatably supporting the intake-side plate 22; a shaft 31 rotatably supporting the exhaust-side plate 32; and gears 11-14 provided between the shaft 21 and the shaft 31 to transmit rotation of one of the plates to the other plate. The intake quantity and the exhaust quantity are equalized to each other by rotating the intake-side and exhaust-side plates 22 and 32 by the same quantity through the gears 11-14.
