<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in size and improvement in COP of a supercooling heat exchanger by providing an optimum adjustment method for a pressure reducing valve of an injection pipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A desired target temperature efficiency η for the supercooling heat exchanger (37) is set to a temperature efficiency setting part (101). A target liquid temperature calculation part (102) calculates a target temperature TL of liquid refrigerant on the outflow side of the supercooling heat exchanger (37) based on relational expression: η=(Tin-TL)/(Tin-Tm). A valve opening control part (103) controls the opening of a supercooling expansion valve (38) so that the temperature of the outflow-side liquid refrigerant of the heat exchanger (37) gets close to the target temperature TL.
