PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for a vehicle capable of accomplishing at low cost a structure which assures enhancement of the seal contact pressure in a welt part. SOLUTION: A plurality of lips 11 extending toward a flange 5 and laid in line at a certain spacing across the flange 5 thickness are provided in a position confronting the end face 5d of the flange 5 inside the welt part 3, wherein at least one of the lips 11 is furnished with a seal part 10 in resilient contact with the flange 5, and they 11 are shaped as making line contact with the flange 5.
