PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, capable of very quickly and easily selecting and setting a desired photographic function from among a plurality of photographic functions that uses imaging means. SOLUTION: Mode information of a plurality of operation modes that can be employed by the terminal device and photographic function information of an imaging part 33, having the highest possibility of being used in the respective operation modes are associated with each other and are stored in a selection condition information storing part 16 of a RAM 12. When a mode-selecting means of an operating part 31 sets an operation mode and instructs a camera to perform photographing, the camera automatically selects and starts a photographic function, corresponding to the operation mode at that time according to stored contents of the selection condition information storing part 16.
