<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, for instance, in an imaging system for business use, provision for a mark to imaging data is carried out by an operation of a mark button provided for a camera body under present circumstances, a photographer cannot indicate a mark point at an appropriate timing, because the photographer is concentrating on imaging, and a mark provision function cannot be utilized effectively. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This terminal device has a time counting part, synchronizes the counting time with that of an external device having a time counting part and thereafter, acquires counted time information by the time counting part with a timing at which an operation is carried out, and transmits the acquired time information to the external device. According to such a structure, indication of mark provision timing can be carried out by a device separate from an imaging camera, and a third person, other than the photographer, can appropriately input the indication of the mark provision timing.
