<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ROM protection structure and a game machine, capable of preventing a fraud doer from sensing that the fraudulence is discovered by a game parlor side by leaving a trace which can not be recognized by the fraud doer when a ROM on a control board is fraudulently changed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ROM protection structure includes the control board 1, the ROM 10 mounted on the control board surface, a ROM cover 20 locked on the control board surface to cover the ROM, and a liquid L stored inside a space S formed between a part of the ROM cover and a part of the control board.
