PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal image display device capable of displaying an image for adjustment for performing a white balance adjustment without using external equipment for inputting image data for adjustment. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal TV set 1 as liquid crystal image display device includes: a liquid crystal panel 3 for displaying a color image; an image memory 5 for adjustment in which the image data for adjustment as image data of an image for adjustment used for performing the white balance adjustment are stored; and a control part 9 for controlling an operation of the liquid crystal TV set 1. The control part 9 has a CPU 11, a ROM 12, etc. The ROM 12 stores a chromaticity adjustment value for performing chromaticity adjustment of the color image. The control part 9, when receiving an adjustment starting signal by means of a wireless signal from a remote controller 80 for adjustment, reads the image data for adjustment stored in the image memory 5 for adjustment, performs chromaticity adjustment of the image for adjustment based on the image data for adjustment by using a chromaticity adjustment value stored in the ROM 12 and, thereafter, displays the image for adjustment subjected to chromaticity adjustment on the liquid crystal panel 3.
