The invention relates to a dental hygiene element of the kind that is inserted between dental parts in order to extract dirt or food remnants, characterised in that it consists of a very thin laminar body (1) having a peripheral configuration forming acute vertexes (2). The constructive material of the laminar body (1) is naturally flexible with a structural rigidity, and resistant to humidity.
