PURPOSE: A display substrate and a liquid crystal display panel with the same are provided to minimize distortion of a liquid crystal director, thereby improving display quality. CONSTITUTION: Gate wires(GL1,GL2) are formed on a base substrate in which a pixel region is defined. Data wires(DL1,DL2) crosses with the gate wires. Pixel electrodes(PE1,PE2) have micro slit patterns(183a,183b) and the first shielding pattern(182a). The micro slit patterns are formed on the pixel region. The ends of the micro slit patterns are overlapped with the gate wire. The first shielding pattern connects the ends of the ends of the micro slit patterns.
