<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original sheet pressing plate opening/closing mechanism which can make a drive unit small at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This mechanism automatically or manually opens and closes an original sheet pressing plate on the main section of office equipment and comprises a hinge and a driver. The hinge supports the original sheet pressing plate at its rear in the back of the main section in a manner free to be opened and closed on it. The driver is composed of a drive arm supporting either side of the original sheet pressing plate in front of the hinge of the main section of the equipment, a drive power transmitter to transmit drive power to the drive arm, and a drive motor provided in the drive power transmitter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
