<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer operation control method that suitably operates a printer on user-familiar specifications. <P>SOLUTION: The printer operation control method includes a version specification step of specifying a version of firmware for operating the printer, and a firmware loading step of calling the predetermined version of firmware from among a plurality of versions of firmware in the printer and loading it on a main storage memory of the printer such that the printer is operated by the predetermined version of firmware. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
