<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealability of a grommet by preventing deformation of a portion where a car body engaging recess of the grommet is provided even when a wire harness piercing through the grommet is suddenly bent. <P>SOLUTION: The grommet includes integrally a small-diameter inner cylinder 5 piercing so that electric wires of a wire harness can be closely attached, an annular coupling portion 6 protruding from the outer circumference of a length direction intermediate portion sandwiched by a press-in side P1 and a leading side P2 on both ends of the inner cylinder, and a large-diameter outer cylinder 8 continuing to the outer circumference of the annular coupling portion and provided with a space concentrically with the inner cylinder. The outer cylinder 8 is configured so that an inclined wall 11 having a diameter reduced from a thick portion 9 of a continuing position to the annular coupling portion 6 to the leading side extends, the car body engaging recess 10 is annularly provided between the thick portion 9 and the inclined wall 11, an inner circumferential surface of the small-diameter end side of the inclined wall 11 is separated from the outer circumferential surface of the inner cylinder 5 with a space, and the leading side and press-in side of the inner cylinder 5 protrude outward from the outer cylinder 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
