<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free wheel hub capable facilitating connection of a diaphragm with a slide gear and reducing the cost by reducing the number of parts. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A two-wheel drive side negative pressure chamber 30 is fixed to the inner part of a hub housing 6, and a cap-shaped connecting implement 14 is fixed to an inner peripheral part of the diaphragm 11 forming a four-wheel drive side negative pressure chamber 31. A plurality of inclined shaped retaining pieces 21 are integrally provided on the inner periphery of a cylindrical part 16 formed on the outer periphery of the connecting implement 14 at an interval in the circumferential direction. An annular groove 22 is provided on an outside diameter surface of the slide gear 9 for locking the wheel hub 2 to a front side axle 1 by meshing with an outer gear 7. The cylindrical part 16 of the connecting implement 14 is fitted to the slide gear 9 and the diaphragm 11 is connected to the slide gear 9 by engaging of the retaining pieces 21 with respect to the annular groove 22.
