<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print accommodating in one page as much as possible a report which includes setting information etc. representative of a state of an image forming apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A report forming part 6 forms the report by a default font size to a paper of a default paper size when all items of a report object can be printed in one page of the default paper size. The report forming part 6 also forms the report by a paper size larger than the default paper size and usable in the image forming apparatus, and/or a font size smaller than the default font size and usable in the image forming apparatus when all items of the report object cannot be printed in one page of the default paper size.
