A suction teat comprises a base body (10), a mouth piece (12) with a suction opening (13) and at least one milk duct (18) running from the base body (10) to the suction opening (13). The mouth piece (12) in use has an upper side facing a palate of an infant and a lower side facing a tongue of an infant. The above is designed with at least a double wall on the upper side thereof with at least one air cavity (14) in between. The at least one air cavity (14) runs separately from the at least one milk duct (18). The mouth piece (12) is designed on the upper side such that said at least one air cavity (14) expands with low pressure. The above permits an interaction between the palate tongue and suction teat which is understandable to the feeding infant. |
