Disclosed is a blanket used as an overcoat, which is characterized by comprising: a blanket body that can be used as a blanket, the body having a predetermined thickness and four sides (top/bottom sides and right/left sides) when spread out; a pair of first connection parts for making a separable connection between the left and right sides of the upper side of the blanket body and the respective upper portions thereof, and for forming sleeves of an overcoat to encompass the arms of a wearer; a second connection part for making a separable connection between the left and right lateral sides of the blanket body from the lower end to a predetermined height, and for encompassing the body and lower part of the body of the wearer when connected together; and an opening/closing portion formed on the top, central part of the blanket body, through which the wearer pulls the blanket body over the head and off when the blanket body is modified into an overcoat shape by connecting the first and second connection parts.
