THE METHOD FOR LATERAL RESISTING FORCE OF BALLAST

PURPOSE: A method for measuring the lateral resisting force of ballast is provided to secure stable support state of a sleeper when the lateral resisting force of ballast is measured. CONSTITUTION: A pad and connecting device of a sleeper(20), in which the lateral resisting force of ballast is measured, is removed. A jig(120) is installed on the upper surface of rails(30,32). A pressing unit(110) is established in order to pressurize the inner side of the rail. A displacement sensor is established between the rail and sleeper. The pressing unit is operated A control unit calculates a displacement value measured in the displacement sensor in order to digitalize the lateral resisting force of ballast.
