BAD BREATH MEASUREMENT APPARATUS AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A bad breath measuring device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve accuracy of the bad breath measurement by selectively performing the direct measurement or collection measurement. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(20) is formed in one side of a body. The input unit includes a first button(21) and a second button(22). The first button indicates the measurement of the collected bad breath. The second button indicates the measurement of the expiration gas of the mouth or nasal cavity. A measurement unit(30) is connected to the body with a wire and measures an amount of hydrogen sulfide or methyl mecaptan in the gas according to the indication of the input unit. An amplification/filter unit(40) amplifies and filters the measured signal. An operation controller determines the degree of the bad breath based on the signal from the amplification/filter unit. An output unit(60) outputs the degree of the bad breath determined by the operation controller.
