<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a hydrogen permeation member which has a good hydrogen permeation efficiency and is capable of retaining sufficient mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydrogen permeation member 10, a polyimide resin layer 12 of a thickness of ≥0.5 μm is formed on the surface of a hydrogen permeable metal layer 11. The hydrogen permeation member 10 is arranged so that, in Fig.1, the gas on the lower side is a low-purity gas of a high pressure (partial pressure of hydrogen of P<SB>1</SB>) and a low concentration of hydrogen and the gas on the upper side is a high-purity gas of a low pressure (partial pressure of hydrogen of P<SB>2</SB>) and a high concentration of hydrogen. The hydrogen permeable metal layer 11 has hydrogen permeability, or a high hydrogen permeability coefficient. In the hydrogen permeable metal layer 11 of the hydrogen permeation member 10, the hydrogen permeability coefficient ϕ may be higher than that of a Pd alloy. Even when embrittlement of the hydrogen permeable metal layer 11 occurs, the mechanical strength of the whole of the hydrogen permeation member 10 is retained owing to the thick polyimide resin layer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
