<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse (a computer input means) that makes an operator feel a tactile sense. <P>SOLUTION: The mouse 20 includes a circulating elastic-wave oscillator 21 having a piezoelectric body 211 generating a surface elastic wave and an oscillator 212 fixed with the piezoelectric body 211 via an interdigital electrode. The oscillator 212 has a circulation path through which a surface elastic wave propagates. A mouse pad 40 is composed of a rubber sheet 41 and a metal film 42. When a surface-elastic-wave driving voltage (a burst signal) is applied to the interdigital electrode, a friction coefficient between the oscillator 212 and the mouse pad 40 is periodically increased/reduced and the whole mouse is vibrated, thereby generating vibration on the skin of a hand operating the mouse 20 when tracing an object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
