<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an FRP container for high pressure hydrogen with superior fatigue characteristics under high pressure gaseous hydrogen filling, suitably usable as a hydrogen fuel tank for a fuel cell vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The lightweight, compact and low cost FRP container for high pressure hydrogen storage is used as an FRP container for high pressure hydrogen storage with superior generation characteristics and propagation characteristics of fatigue cracks in a gaseous hydrogen atmosphere, and FRP covers an outer circumference of the liner made of Cr-Mo steel. The Cr-Mo steel contains 0.8-1.2 mass% Cr and 0.3-0.6 mass% Mo, and preferably has the tensile strength of 830-1,000 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
