COMPOSITE MOLDED ARTICLE HAVING PLATED SURFACE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite molded article which is obtained by multi-color injection molding and has a plated resin part and no damage caused by plating, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The composite molded article is obtained by multi-color injection molding and has a molded article composed of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a molded article composed of a thermoplastic elastomer. The composite molded article having a plated surface is characterized in that the exposed surface of the molded article composed of the thermoplastic resin composition is plated by a plating method in which etching using a chromium acid bath is not performed.
