PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die for a roller, in which removal of a remaining resin stuck to an opening of a gas vent is facilitated and easily automatized and the foamed elastic roller having no void can be obtained by an extremely simple method. SOLUTION: The molding die for the roller has at least a roller molding part and the upper and lower frames, which are each fitted into the roller molding part and are used for gripping both ends of a core bar, and is constituted in such a way that a foamable elastic material is cured and foamed while the roller molding part is erected almost vertically. An injection hole for injecting the foamable elastic material is arranged at any of both ends of the roller molding part or any of the upper frame or the lower frame. A first opening, through which air passes between the inside of the roller molding part and the outside, is formed in the fitted part of the upper frame into the roller molding part and a second opening, through which air passes between the inside of the roller molding part and the outside, is formed in the fitted part of the lower frame into the roller molding part.
