PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of achieving power saving by effectively charging and discharging a secondary battery. SOLUTION: When a current amount consumed by a low-voltage load 211 is below Ilow, a storage current is inputted to a storage unit 210 so that the output current amount of an AD converter 201 is equal to Ilow. When the current amount consumed by the low-voltage load 211 is within a range of Ilow to Ihigh, the charging/discharging of the storage unit 210 is not performed, and power is fed to the low-voltage load 211 from only the AD converter 201. Furthermore, when the current amount consumed by the low-voltage load 211 is exceeds Ihigh, power is also fed to the low-voltage load 211 from the storage unit 210 so that the output current amount of the AD converter 201 is equal to Ihigh.
