PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a measure to prevent jamming caused by components and harmonic frequencies of a reference clock at low cost in an analog/digital common use tuner. SOLUTION: The analog/digital common use tuner and signal demodulator can receive an analog signal and a digital signal, in which a tuner circuit portion 100 which converts a received analog signal or a digital signal into an IF signal is made to be analog/digital common use. Moreover, it is equipped with an analog demodulator 110 which demodulates the analog signal when receiving the analog signal, and a digital demodulator 120 which demodulates the digital signal when receiving the digital signal. The digital signal demodulator 120 is equipped with a reference clock oscillator formed by an oscillation element such as a crystal and a PLL oscillation circuit 124, when receiving the analog signal, the reference clock oscillation portion is stopped by a performance such as short-circuiting the both ends of the oscillation element with a switch 131.
