<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the opening/closing speed pattern of an elevator door without the need for a maintenance person having to ride on a car which involves hard work and danger. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the maintenance operational mode, door opening/closing buttons 53, 54 and destination buttons 55, 56 are subjected to the predetermined operation, and the speed pattern diagram and the speed values of a door are indicated on an in-car indicator 52. The speed pattern diagram and the speed values are adjusted and determined by the combination of the door opening/closing buttons 53, 54 and the destination buttons 55, 56, and the subsequent opening/closing speed pattern of the elevator door is changed.
