<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food freezing device suppressed in wasteful loss in cooling/heating low-temperature liquefied gas derived from a conveyor to reduce a quantity consumed of the low-temperature liquefied gas to be reduced in running costs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The food freezing device is provided with: a heat-insulating tunnel 1 having a carry-in port 5 and a carry-out port 6 at its both ends; a conveyor 22 extending to the inside of the heat insulating tunnel from the carry-in port to convey a to-be-frozen material (A) to the carry-out port from the carry-in port; a low-temperature liquid gas supply part 3 supplying the low-temperature liquefied gas to the inside of the heat-insulating tunnel; and an exhaust air duct 12 disposed nearer to the side of the carry-in port than to the low-temperature liquefied gas supply part of the heat-insulating tunnel to exhaust the vaporized low-temperature liquefied gas through the heat-insulating tunnel. The starting end part at the carry-in port side of the conveyor is positioned at a part nearer to the side of the carry-out port than the position of the exhaust air duct. The distance to the starting end part of the conveyor from the position of the end part at the side of the carry-out port of the opening part of the discharge duct is preferably 0-20 cm.
