<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication portable terminal of which a utilization form varies flexibly and is expanded. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal device is formed from a freely deformable layer 4 bending flexibly and first and second display substrates 3, 5. The freely deformable layer 4 is sandwiched by the first and second display substrates 3, 5, and deformedly transits between first and second shape transition states. In the first shape transition state, the first and second display substrates 3, 5 mutually separate in a first direction. In the second shape transition state, the first and second display substrates 3, 5 can mutually and adjacently approach in a second direction nearly orthogonally crossing the first one.
