The present invention relates to an ethylenically unsaturated prepolymer comprising at least one ending X which reacts by condensation chosen from hydroxyl and/or amine or free isocyanate groups and optionally an ending X' having ethylenic unsaturation, the prepolymer being the reaction product of the following components A and B: A) a first component A comprising the following mixture: i) at least one first ethylenically unsaturated resin carrying specific hydroxyl and/or amine reactive endings, and/or ii) optionally at least one second resin, other than the resin i), chosen from: ethylenically unsaturated hydroxylated resins, and/or hydroxylated and/or aminated saturated resins, and/or iii) optionally at least one third reactive saturated resin, iv) optionally at least one unsaturated monoalcohol up to 30% in equivalents of the OH+NH2 total, B) a second component B comprising at least one polyisocyanate with a functionality equal to 2 or greater than 2, A and B being in proportions which make it possible to avoid any gelling by crosslinking. The invention also relates to a crosslinkable resin composition comprising at least one prepolymer according to the invention and to its uses in various fields of application.
