PURPOSE:To produce the titled ball having a uniform particle size with a simple method by dispersing a solution dispersed very fine particles in an alcoholic solution into a liquid paraffin in a small dropping state, followed by drying and calcining it. CONSTITUTION:The various kinds of ceramic fine particles or alkoxide particles capable of forming ceramic fine particles by hydrolyzing and calcining are dispersed in the alcoholic solution to prepare a suspension solution or a sol. And then, the suspension or the sol is dropped in the liquid paraffin which does not mix with the suspension or the sol, followed by dispersing to form spherical particles thereof. The obtd. particles are filtered, washed, dried and calcined, after evaporating alcohol by heating the particles to form the titled balls. The particle size of the obtd. spherical particles is controlled by a diameter of an orifice for dropping said particles and a concentration of the suspension or the sol, thereby easily obtaining the titled ball which is near to sphericity and has uniform particle size. |
