<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device, a display control method, and a program capable of improving both convenience and ease of operation to a user, when displaying an image recorded in a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The display control device includes: an external memory storage part for storing a detachable external memory; a database recognition part for recognizing a database in which an image stored in the external memory and information on the image are recorded correlatively, which is stored in the external memory; a display method setting part for setting either display method of the stored first display method and the second display method for displaying the image stored in the external memory without using the database, based on recognition results by the database recognition part; and a display control part for displaying the image stored in the external memory by a display method based on the set display method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
