摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a lower-limit value of control over the remaining capacity of a secondary battery while taking deterioration in the secondary battery into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: A first use lower-limit capacity rate Slow1 is calculated by adding to a lower-limit capacity rate Slim a capacity rate obtained by taking a deterioration coefficient bk into consideration for a capacity ratio corresponding to necessary starting electric power Wstart as electric power, needed to start an engine 22, set based upon an engine estimated temperature Teest as a temperature of the engine 22 estimated when the engine 22 is to be started next time, and a second use lower-limit capacity rate Slow2 is calculated based upon a battery estimated temperature Tbest, the deterioration coefficient bk, and the necessary starting electric power Wstart (S100 to S140), then the first use lower-limit capacity rate Slo1 or second use lower-limit capacity rate Slow2 which is larger is set as a use lower-limit capacity rate Slow (S150).
