<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL light emitting device which suppresses deterioration of an organic EL element at a corner part of a luminous region. <P>SOLUTION: The organic light emitting device includes a flattening film 4A for flattening the top of a thin-film transistor to be arranged in the luminous region A in which pixels are arranged, an element separation film 8A for dividing pixels formed on the flattening film 4A, and an electric charge transportation layer 6' to be formed on the flattening film 8A in the pixels. The charge transport layer contains any one of alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, and extends from the inside of the pixels to the outside of the luminous region A so as to cover the side of a peripheral part formed in the peripheral area B of the flattening film 4A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
