摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle vane manufacturing method for manufacturing a nozzle vane excelling in durability and dimensional accuracy at a low cost while improving productivity, and also to provide a nozzle vane having excellent durability and exhibiting desired characteristics, a variable nozzle mechanism, and a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: The nozzle vane manufacturing method has: a molding process A for molding a composition containing metal powder and an organic binder to obtain a molding comprising a shaft part formed with a flat part at a part of the outer peripheral surface, and a blade part formed to project at least in one direction perpendicular to an axis from the shaft part; a degreasing process B for removing the inorganic binder from the inside of the molding to obtain a degreased body; a baking process D for baking the degreased body to obtain a sintered body; and a shaft machining process E for applying machining including cutting and/or grinding to a portion other than a portion corresponding to a flat face out of a portion corresponding to the shaft part of the sintered body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
