PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board storing apparatus which allows failure contents to be precisely comprehended, in front of the apparatus including a failing main circuit, when the main circuit fails. SOLUTION: The circuit board storing apparatus has a main circuit, an alarming circuit for detecting the failure of the main circuit; a plurality of circuit boards 2 comprising highly luminous LEDs 4A to be lit by a signal received from the alarming circuit when the main circuit fails; an information forming portion 7 for transmitting the light emitted from the highly luminous LEDs 4A, when the main circuit fails so as to form the information relative to the failure; and a projecting lens 8 for magnifying and projecting the information formed on the information forming portion 7 on a displaying plate 9. In this way, when the main circuit fails, the high-luminance LEDs 4A light, and their light travels through the information forming portion 7 and magnifies and projects the information relative to the failure on the displaying plate 9, by the projecting lens 8.
