摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for a compression self-ignition type internal combustion engine capable of performing fuel injection control of appropriate sub-injection considering a pre-heating function and a pre-mixing function. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A common rail type diesel engine 1 is capable of carrying out at least main injection and pre-injection as fuel injection operation from an injector 23. The fuel injection quantity of pre-injection is computed based on the rate (pre-mixed rate) of fuel burnt together with fuel injected in main injection without being burnt before the fuel is injected in the main injection, out of fuel injected in pre-injection, and on injection timing to carry out pre-injection. In this case, the pre-mixing rate of pre-injection is obtained according to the operating state of the engine 1.
