<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly cope with the change of a tire diameter and the like, while securing convenience when accommodating luggage and the like in a rear luggage compartment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rear luggage compartment structure of a vehicle has a rear seat 6 installed on a floor panel 4 of the vehicle; a sub-trunk 7 arranged at the rear of this rear seat 6; and a rear opening 1 for taking in and out luggages in a rear luggage compartment 3 having the sub-trunk 7. On this sub-trunk 7, a sub-trunk body 20, which has a recessed part 19 recessed downward, and trunk board 21, which is set up so as to cover the top surface opening of the recessed part 19 and which forms a luggage-placing surface, are provided. Below the sub-trunk 7, a spare tire pan 8 is formed which has a tire support part 24 on which a spare tire 23 is supported in a front-down state, and the bottom surface of the sub-trunk body 20 is arranged with front-down inclination at approximately the same angle α with the spare tire 23 supported in the front-down state.
