<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost, while improving working efficiency in changing a state into a front frame breaking-open prevention state for preventing the front frame of a game machine from being forcibly broken to open in a crime prevention device for a game machine, which prevents the front frame of the game machine from being forcibly broken open. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The crime prevention device for the game machine includes: an opening restraining member 60 having a restraining position abutting on the front frame so as to restrain the movement of the front frame in an opening direction, and a permitting position for permitting the movement of the front frame in the opening direction, thereby performing switching between the restraining position and the permitting position; a restraining position switching mechanism 40 for switching the opening restraining member 60 from the permitting position to the restraining position and locking it at the restraining position linked with the contact of the bottom surface of the front frame gradually becoming a closed state when the front frame is switched from an opening state into the closing state with respect to an external frame 11; and a restraining release mechanism 30 for releasing the lock of the opening restraining member 60 locked at the restraining position linked with the unlocking operation of a cylinder lock 31, and switching the position of the opening restraining member 60 from the restraining position to the permitting position.
