<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus configured to comb free grains over rack at the end on the downstream of conveyance of a threshing cylinder for threshing conveyed grain culms therein to discharge waste straw and threshed objects, so designed as to efficiently prevent clogging at a fourth port and smoothly drop combed free grains over rack into a sorting chamber. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The threshing apparatus includes a threshing cylinder configured to comb free grains over rack as threshed object getting into the ear tip of waste straw at the end on the downstream side of conveyance of the threshing cylinder, and drop the free grains into the sorting chamber. In this threshing apparatus, at a lower position at the end on the downstream side of conveyance of the threshing cylinder, a guide plate 29 for guiding waste straw to a fourth port 27 by preventing the waste straw from suspending down toward the sorting chamber side and restricting blowing up of sorting air to the fourth port 27 is extended from a frame 12 side constituting the lower part of a threshing chamber 2 on the downstream of the conveyance so that the side end of the fourth port 27 is a free end, and also is formed with a notched part 29a with the fourth port 27 side opening.
