PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that implements an early resolution of communication errors and a reduction in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A TV receiver includes a control microcomputer, a memory and a power microcomputer. The memory has a communication error information storage area including a first storage area and a second storage area, and a communication error counter value area. When powered on (S1), the TV receiver detects whether there occurs an error in communication between the microcomputers (S2), and if a communication error occurs (S3: YES), increases a counter value stored in the communication error counter value area by one (S4). If the counter value is '1' (S5: YES), the control microcomputer stores error information about the detected communication error in the first storage area (S6) and returns to S2.
