A color consultation system for a hair salon is proposed with which an existing color of human hair can be recognized and a hair color treatment can be prepared in order to change the color of the hair, consisting of - a measuring device (1) for detection of the hair color - a unit (2) for receiving the data from the measuring device (1) - a device (3) for input of at least one color parameter - a display unit (4) for display of a measurement parameter or color parameter - a processor (5) for calculation of the components of a desired color for the hair, as well as - a mixing device (7) and an output device (6) for solid components.
