<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dewatering method which enables the treating of washing of high class linen such as a sheet, which is delicate and is easy to be torn, with outstanding productivity without causing a problem in quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the dewatering method of a pressing type dryer which presses the washing by a press disc 52 which is attached to the leading edge of the piston rod 51 of a fluid pressure cylinder 47 and a pressurization object 53 which encloses a liquid with a membrane stuck to this, the washing 60 is received in a dewatering basket 42, the pressurization object is elevated, and the washing is lightly pressed with dividing into at least two parts by only the weight of a set of movable sections such as the press disc, the piston rod, and a piston, to which the pressurization object is attached, or weight below the same weight by applying tension, which alleviates the same weight, to the piston. Then, fluid pressure is gradually increased and predetermined low fluid pressure is reached over time corresponding to the strength of the washing. Then, the press disc is temporarily raised to ease the mutual pulling of the pressurization object and the washing. Then, high pressure pressing is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
