<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device with high reliability, which prevents a light-emitting element and a mounting component from peeling owing to a thermal shock and is free of cracking of a mold resin. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes the mounting component 2, the light-emitting element 3 mounted on the mounting component, and the mold resin 1 provided covering the light-emitting element and at least a portion of the mounting component.
