<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably cool built-in parts of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The respective motors M1-M4 and a fixing device 153 are mounted not on the same plate, but on the separate plates. That is, the respective motors M1-M4 are mounted on a plate 151, and the fixing device 153 is mounted on a plate 152. The plate 151 and the plate 152 are disposed at a space without contact, and set in non-contact state.
