<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a balance between the reduction in the rising time and energy saving of a driving means such as a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The deflector which deflects a light beam includes: a light source which outputs the light beam; a deflection means which deflects the light beam; a driving means which drives the deflection means; a power source circuit which applies an electric voltage on the driving means; and a storage means which is charged by the regenerative energy of the driving means. Particularly, the deflector includes an electric voltage control means which superimposes the voltage of the storage means on the voltage of the power source circuit and applies the superimposed voltage on the driving means when starting up the driving means, and applies the electric voltage of the power source circuit on the driving means when the discharge of the storage means is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
