PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid barrel polishing device coping with a request for narrowing a sliding gap formed between an inner peripheral surface of a fixed container and an outer peripheral end face of a rotary disk. SOLUTION: In the fluid barrel polishing device, a polishing container is formed of a fixed container and a rotary disk, which is arranged on a bottom of the fixed container, has a sliding gap 24 between the inner peripheral surface of the fixed container and the rotary disk, and rotates horizontally. The fixed container 14A has a cylindrical liner 18 on the inner peripheral surface of a vertically cylindrical rigid body 16A, and the rotary disk 15A has a dish-shaped liner 22A on an upper surface of a dish-shaped rigid body 20A. A thermal expansion relief section (an opening) 38 is prepared on an outer peripheral side of the cylindrical liner 18 in a position corresponding to the sliding gap 24, and a circular diameter expansion restraining rigid body 42 is exchangeably arranged on an outer peripheral part of the rotary disk 15A so as to form the sliding gap 24 by an outer peripheral end surface of the diameter expansion restraining rigid body 42.
